Omega 1894 enamel dial
Omega 1894 enamel dial
Yellow gold, manual, cal.286, 17 jewels. Diameter 35.5mm. Case, dial, movement and buckle signed
Produced in 1994 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Omega's first series-produced watches, the Homage 1894 consisted of 100 centre seconds wristwatches with cloisonné enamel dial. These watches were fitted with a new-old stock movement from 1963, the caliber 286.
It offers a spectacular enamel cloisonné flower in the central zone of the dial. To preserve the beauty of the floral arrangement, the dial is therefore kept as elegantly minimalistic as is possible with a champagne chapter ring with applied gold dot and faceted indexes with the hands in yellow gold matching the case and crown. The Omega logo is unusually placed in the six o’clock position.
